Just a quick note: we have a bunch of Baraga County vacant land listed for sale. A lot of it is in the Michigan Commercial Forest Reserve (CFR). Holding vacant timberland in the CFR program results in annual property taxes $50 per year per 40 acres. So, it’s a very low cost way to hold on to forestland. Many of our vacant land listing are new to the market int he last month, have some water feature on them, and are ready for you to hunt them. So, give us a call to discuss CFR and all the vacant land listings that we have in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, Ontonagon, and Iron Counties!
